Telling Time
I was on an International Studies trip in Taiwan and my fellow students and I were given a few hours to site-see and shop. We were told to meet outside the temple gates at 5 pm for the bus back to dinner and the hotel Most of us stayed together so that we wouldn't get lost, but a couple of the guys went looking for tea sets for their mothers. Needless to say, they were late getting back and we left without them. Thank goodness they had a business card from the hotel because they had lost track of time and had gotten lost in the shopping alleys. The taxis are very inexpensive in Taiwan and the taxi driver knew where to take them based on the hotel business card, so they didn't have to pay a lot for the lesson they learned.
